germ-x Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 2 of the few players I watched this year were Williams and Carter out of UNC. I just happened to catch 2 UNC games. I posted in the college thread I’d take both on this team in the 3rd and 4th round. They ended up moving up throughout the process, but I stand by it. Nixon is the player I'm most rooting for, he and Barmore are the clear top DT talents in this draft for my money. He had some top ten momentum early in the process but cooled off for whatever reason. From the moves he's made I'd guess Paton see's little difference in talent between 71 and 100. There always seems to be a "dead" spot in every draft where there's no clear cut talent differential for 30-50 picks. Very possible Paton ID'd that spot.
