This drops you into the F tier of GB posters. Enjoy

The Office was a **** show immediately following season 3 right up until the very end of the series and if you disagree you might as well change your name to Norma, get yourself some Chai Latte mix, buy pumpkin spice creamer in bulk, wear scarfs, wear leggings, talk about how much you love the winter and lie about how often you read while you sign up for Tinder and say, “Not here for hook ups,” and make all sorts of demands about the man you’re looking for while looking like The Penguin from Batman Returns.

Good post but you're still an elitist ******

:)

(But yes, that directional shift was annoying)

David LeBlanc -   This will end with Aaron getting an extra $5M or so for just 2021 (some type of bonus or just increased 2021 base salary) and him getting traded in 22. He won’t want any extra years on this contract as part of his 22 trade will be a new contract with whoever signs him.

  • Andrew Brandt -   It's always been a no-brainer to bump him up this year, assume that's been offered. A pain point for the Packers would be giving him a void after the season, as Brady had, to pick his new team next year. Stay tuned.

If Rodg will come in and play his guts out this year it is the best scenario for both.

In no way should the Packers agree to move him at any cost after this year.  He doesn't get to pick his team, he would be traded to the highest bidder and a team of the Packers choosing.  If the Packers don't get value he won't traded.  That is exactly what the team needs to tell him.  Along with if value can be had then yes, after this year we will trade you if that is what you want.

Only missing piece is Love's progress.

Probably the best scenario, but this hanging over the Packers all season doesn't bode well.  The good thing is this division is very winnable, but I wouldn't bet on anything much more than that.

Yes, it boils down to this.  Rodgers doesn't want to be year to year and the Packers trade him at their convenience.  The Packers want him to be year to year and can trade him at their convenience.

Key piece is Loves progress.

Woof. Hard hard pass on the void. I would be irate of they squandered a resource like that.

Correct. It's entirely possible that Love show's he's not the guy - or at least not yet - which puts the draft selection into question, but it's not as if these get "hits" (or immediate returns) all the time - but also - it shines a new light on the AR early extension - meaning, they have him for two more years.

Options.

Just because sports/social media is "star driven" doesnt mean *any* organization needs to be swayed by it.

"The Packers want him to be year to year and can trade him at their convenience"

Just like every other player on the roster.

I dont see them making any such commitment until they know what they have in Love.

A void is too much give by GB. I would however entertain a restricted trade market of Rodgers' choosing. Basically 5-10 teams he would be interested in and taking the best offer there. No one wants to get traded to the Jets or Washington Football Team. I get that from his side.

I have no problem trading Rodgers to a contender while we go through the first year or 2 with Love as the starter when we aren't contending anyways.
