mse326
Kaeprnick is clearly the better QB and it isn't even remotely close I think Tebow would have been the better football player if he allowed himself to be used similar to how the Saints use Hill

The athleticism didn't justify the effort either, IMO. Tebow is "what if Cam Newton were an absolute garbage player" Edited May 14, 2021 by Mr Bad Example

Danger
Look as much as I'd love to just crap on Kaep for being overrated and an SJW media darling, Tebow isn't even in his realm.

It’s partially because he was a backup that came in for a couple plays per game for like half his career. He played in 35 games and 9 of them he didn’t throw a single pass and was only used as a runner/for a gadget play, another 6 where he threw one pass, and one he threw 3. So the per game stats are extra wonky even after accounting for the fact that he was just a bad passer. That said, it was still only 11.6 when he was actually starting, and just 11.1 during his sophomore year that drove all of the Tebowmania. This is quite clearly Kap, by a very significant margin. Maybe if Tebow had been willing to change positions and dedicate himself to that before he was into his 30’s, it would be different. But as things played out, there’s really no logical argument for it not being Kap.

Tk3
This isn't quite as bad as the "__vs__" comp which won't be named.. but it's close Kaep in an absolute landslide His worst season was better than Tebow's best I get that his career fizzled, but his highs were WAY higher than Tebow's (including leading his team to the Super Bowl), and his lows were not nearly as low Tebow didn't even complete 50% of passes for his career

NeptunePenguins
Tebow's numbers are so bad I can't even find a way to meme myself into supporting him. Kaep easily.
Soko
Only one of these quarterbacks actually were NFL quality QBs (barely). It’s Kaepernick and not even remotely close.
ThatJaxxenGuy
This isn’t even close. It’s Kaepernick by an absurd amount. Tebow was a flat out terrible NFL Quarterback, whereas there were stretches where Kaepernick was an elite weapon at the QB position (ask the Packers). The only reason we are comparing them is the attitudes of conservative America towards them. The same group that is responsible for Tebow somehow being relevant is the one that is responsible for Kaepernick being out of the league.

ThatJaxxenGuy
Tebow wasn’t even in the same galaxy as Kaepernick as a QB... there were moments where Kaepernick was legitimately an elite weapon at quarterback (Packers), in ways Tebow could only dream of. no comparison as pros. Kaepernick hands down was the better player. edit - whoops I posted twice in here... but you get it Edited May 14, 2021 by ThatJaxxenGuy
