ET80
That really sucks, he was a scary presence there. His instincts were unreal, could eyeball a route and know where the ball was going. Hope he comes back at full strength, he's a big part of this division's future.
Livewire
What a miserable year for the Colts. All the best to him in his recovery.
Kip Smithers
Wait, the Colts allowed over 500 yards of offense vs the Jags? And without Fournette?

BleedTheClock
People forget how good young Ed Reed was against the run. Hooker is not there right now and probably will never be in the run game. His instincts and range are absolutely of that caliber, but he is not nearly the run defender that Reed was.

Personally, I'd rather they always treat a potential serious knee injury with as much caution as possible, but I get it.

And Reed was a tremendous blitzer. Knew how to time the snap and get to the QB for a sack or hurry. Hooker has his coverage range but everything else he will need to develop and get better at. Liked him a lot coming into the draft and was real disappointed when he ended up with the Colts. It's fairly common for people to tear their ACL and be able to walk on it immediately afterwards. If they didn't know it was an ACL/MCL tear at the moment and instead thought it was a sprain, this really isn't an issue.
CWood21
I really hope this isn't going to be the case with his career. Always had talent, but struggled with injuries.
Soko
Love me some Hooker. Sucks that he can’t seem to stay healthy. Also, he’s not close to Reed.

Hooker is a young stud amongst his peers that gets to his spot fast and has soft hands, as far as ball handling goes. Some may think his tendency to shy away from giving punishment or wrapping up his man is a weakness, but I think those are things that he’ll develop after more time in the game. And as we’ve seen in his college days, Hooker is familiar with getting to the end zone. What do you mean phrasing
