MVP goes to @Hockey5djh

Dude had a garbage role, but took the leap of faith and claimed it, knowing it likely sounded like a strong case for a cover role. He also had strong game theories based on the show and his understanding of how the setup had looked from an outsider's perspective.

@Scoundrel had faith in him and delivered an assault rifle to his door on N2, which ultimately Hockey used to eliminate  @gopherwrestler , the last member of the Cartel. Scoundrel deserves a mention too in the MVP breakdown.

@bcb1213 gets honorable mention along with @Scoundrel for his game solving ability. HIs thoughts about the setup early in the game proved to be true more often than not.

@The Orca wins the "How in ****'s sake did that work?" Award. He used his two killing abilities to kill players that did not help him get closer to his win condition directly, but managed to reach it regardless. Impressive performance, if not misguided.

The "Oh you poor, sweet, simple soul" Award goes to @bigbadbuff for being lynched with the Innocent Child ability unused in his back pocket, especially knowing he had logged on to make a no-vote to avoid modkill. Wow. Impressive.

@bucsfan333 should have some kind of award for putting zero faith in town's perception and being correct. He claimed to be Jonah Byrde, a child, then also claimed to have made a hit that the write up said was done by a man with a glock. And nobody had any questions for him. What. If bucs had pulled off a win it would've been even more... *checks notes* impressive?

lmao one of the crazier coincidences. 

 

Bucs was jailed, but used a strongman so he had no clue he was jailed.

Orca tried to give him coffee, but his move failed, so he assumed that bucs must be petty.

 

Orca's move would've failed regardless. Orca incorrectly assumed that it failed because Bucs was Petty,  he was correct about the conclusion, incorrect as to why the move failed.

Scum had 2 really strong cover roles between 3 players, Buddy and Ruth...

I thought not getting their covers out in the open early enough was a mistake. Potentially the biggest misstep(s) of the game. My first post in scumchat was telling them not to be afraid to claim, because they had two strong covers.

In the show Buddy killed a cartel member  (Garcia IIRC) to save Wendy, Jonah and Charlotte...

 

So a member of the mafia getting caught making a kill could actually be claimed to be Buddy having a bad read.. This cover got somewhat screwed up when someone suggested Nacho was Buddy (gun giver) instead of Tuck. That would've been a natural and excellent time to CC Buddy.. then nacho would've been asked to confirm and he would've said he was Tuck so the buddy claim works, and the way the claim would've happened with no pressure and looking more like a counter to Nachos Buddy "claim" and wouldn't have been questioned.

When nacho just kind of went with the idea and didn't offer any rebuttal and gopher didn't say he was buddy during that convo, the cover was burned IMO.

Ruth killed two members of her family to protect Marty (and ultimately Wendy and the kids as well) .... she's a pretty powerful character and prominent, she would've been a strong cover at any point

Ruth could've been claimed at any time and would've been a perfect cover for a JOAT claim which fits well with mafia abilities. Ruth never saw the light of day.

@swoosh Marty never stood a chance. Killed by RNG in the FBI Raid. 

Town won despite their investigator dying N1. He wasn't an overly powerful investigator, definitely toned down from most other investigative roles, but still strong in a small game.

@Matts4313 played well. Stayed in the shadows and I think every read/thoughts were correct or at the very least checked out logically. 

N2 was able to confirm Counselor visited Hockey.

@Pickle Rick had his hit on @squire12 (Navarro Cartel) on N1 (it would've been blocked, but was randomized instead) so his head and heart was in the right place when he gunned down @JoshstraDaymus N1. N2 he roleblocked Bucs, who was using a strongman hit. Once again, head and heart in the right place.

@MWil23 fell victim to a spiteful N1 @The Orca strongman kill that didn't help orca reach his wincon, then orca goes on to win anyways. Tough pill to swallow I'm sure. My condolences.

@bcb1213 made it to lylo and gamesolved the whole way. if you had not been given **** for abilities you would likely be taking home the hardware tonight instead of Grace. You played a really good game.

You had the best N1 you could've hoped for, then D2 you let a teammate get lynched with zero evidence and put up no fight at all. And things fell apart from there. Little to no teamwork here and it showed. Tough game to watch from my perspective.

Not much you could do about the sanchez hit by Agent Petty @bucsfan333, but I'm not sure why gopher sat on two cover roles when it was clear the cartel was being hunted from multiple angles and only specific townies were being hunted by indies. Should've claimed Ruth or CC Buddy when Hockey suggested that's who Nacho was and maybe @Hockey5djh shoots elsewhere. I think that was the biggest misstep of the game.

@bucsfan333 made the most of his abilities and made it to lylo. Other than claiming Jonah "Man with a Glock" Byrde (which ended up not getting called out anyways) I thought you played really well. Tough break in lylo.

@The Orca ET dying early screwed you. Then you screwed yourself by wasting a strongman and claiming a super suspicious Grace hit @Hockey5djh (which was also wasted). But somehow, you joined back up with town at the end and won. Well played. Never seen an indy claim a hit on town MVP and still reach their wincon lol
