Shady Slim
so as i mentioned before, gents, i went on the game show The Chase Australia. now that my episode's aired i can say i won $14K. admittedly this is about twenty bucks in real money given how the exchange rate is but nevertheless it's enough for me to do my trip to japan and the usa after i graduate, that being, the december of 2022 there and there abouts. some things on my agenda are certain such as a steelers and penguins game in the burgh. but others are not certain! i'm looking to have time in the northeast, train down from the northeast through the southeast to texas and stop along the way at wherever's worthwhile (i don't just want to fly over half the country and stop in three cities; i think that's a waste), and from there head west and come back to sydney from los angeles. obviously this isn't yet a rigid plan, it depends on when my final exams are and when the steelers and penguins home games are ultimately scheduled. so beyond those, the steelers and penguins games, there is a big country ahead of me with lots to see and lots to do. need y'all to give me the best advice as to this if possible! the places to go, the places to stay (cheaper better!), the things to see, the food to eat and everything else that i can't miss cc need your assistance @mission27 @TLO @swoosh @ET80 @Outpost31 @The Orca @Pickle Rick@FinneasGage @Dome @Matts4313 @JoshstraDaymus @Daboyle @gopherwrestlerand others who are cool
TOUCAN
Hi Shady! I thought this was going to be a game, but I am all about the traveling aspect anyway. What other types of experiences are you attempting to have?

Matts4313
Ive not been to Pennsylvania, so no help there. But if you stay NE make sure to explore NYC. I like the Comedy Cellar, I always hit that up. The East coast has a lot of beautiful spots all the way down to FL. Then start your trek west. Do it in the Southern US as to avoid ishy places like Ohio and Detriot. I dont want you getting stabbed. Plus if you venture across the south you can visit the Alabama campus, Nola, HOU, venture north up to Austin, keep doing west through NM/AZ/CO until you hit Vegas. Boom, our trip is all planned. Do we start here or in Japan?

Not comfy but cheap

Haha 5 hours ago, The Orca said: Yeah if he is doing it alone that makes it tougher i might well be going with some mates - definitely with a mate to japan, and if there's a new mrs shady by that point (though unlikely given we're in the grips of an extended lockdown) that is an option too - so, yeah, the state of play re a supporting cast is somewhat uncertain. like i said definitely have a mate booked for japan but the us is a maybe; think that a car would be a bit expensive regardless and i don't trust myself (though i'm a good driver) or any of my mates to drive on the wrong side of the road like your lot do 3 hours ago, gopherwrestler said: Visit small town cafes.
