Blackstar12
I don’t see how old Sherman really helps that awful secondary.

Opposing QB's will target him early and often - because a reputation can't cover NFL WR's - and neither can Richard Sherman anymore

I was under the impression he played well last year before his injury and his game never really heavily on athleticism. I could see him still being a solid zone corner, worst case scenario he brings some high football IQ to the defense. But you just never know with older CBs. Sad People
Is he over the hill yet? seems like a decent signing but can he play is the real question Edited September 29, 2021 by mattyice0401
indifference
Good scheme fit. Running a lot of cover 3, and 4 under Bowles. Ross Crockell and Dee Delaney have no business starting Hopeful bucs get SMB and Dean back soon

All he really has to be is to be better than Dee Delaney. He's probably better than Jamel Dean as well. And that guy is injured now anyway. I don't think Sherman returns to his 2019 form but I think he is a pretty big help for the banged up TB secondary.
sammymvpknight
What ever happened to "the incident"? The one where he wreck his car while intoxicated, tried trespass while attempting to kick down the door of an inlaw, and then resisted arrest... Turnobili
obviously makes sense given their injuries. how do the Bucs play schematically? edit: just saw the post from @indifference nice pickup. he got the same money Casey Hayward got from the Raiders for similar scheme fits Edited September 29, 2021 by Turnobili
