Story might have been a little too weird but I liked the acting a lot. The end was pretty powerful too but I hope they leave it at that. I remember back in the day when Valerie Harper got fired from her own show Valerie. Sandy Duncan came onto the show to play the aunt after Valerie "died" and the show was was renamed The Hogan Family. It actually got even better and lasted 4 more seasons. It definitely helped having a younger Jason Bateman on the show. You could tell he was going to be successful altho it took a minute. animaltested Posted October 18, 2018 Share Posted October 18, 2018 Finished The Good Place Season 2 last night. Still think its one of the best shows to come out in the last decade. With the new direction, gonna miss the absurdity and surrealism, but the strength has always been the characters. Not sure when ill pick up season 3. I'm inclined to agree with the overall critic consensus so far: the first episode started slow, but it looked like it was building up to something good by the end of it.
