Like you said, it's been the same guys for a long time, the little "wrinkles" coaches try to work into offenses to keep things fresh might not be as wrinkly as they used to be. I'm just spitballing, I'm not watching a ton of football this year. But that's not the case. It seems Mahomes raised his own expectations to the level of unrealistic and until he reaches that then people will continue to call him overrated or whatever.
