Rodgers this year just stopped throwing to his receivers other than Adams. He had a severe case of tunnel vision.

Tonyan's production massively dropped off because Rodgers wasn't throwing to him, Lazard barely got a look in until the latter half of the season, Cobb - a guy we signed to keep Rodgers happy was barely targeted. MVS was only targeted on deep balls.

We let it slide because Rodgers was able to get away with this and win games but we all knew the moment offence showed signs of spluttering it would reveal Rodgers true colours and we saw it at the worst possible time tonight.

Jones and lewis cost them 8-10 points

STs cost them another 3

Actually, special teams cost them 10. The blocked FG and the blocked punt. IF Rodgers had gotten us in the endzone we wouldn't have attempted the FG and the 49ers would have been in bad shape coming out of half.

Hes either retiring or playing somewhere else.  New era officially opened.

This is what I think too. His ego is too massive to take a restructure and lesser money. And even if he did, we have lot of FA's that we are going to lose. This was going to be our last hurrah for atleast a few seasons. Too bad it had to end the way it did.

I really dont care who they hire. I would just rather avoid the lame duck years. The reason we haven't won jack in 10 years is because the people who run our franchise are downright scared of falling into the irrelevancy of the 70s and 80s. They would rather have the illusion of being a championship team than actually build one. Ever since the Love pick the front office has tried to play both sides of the coin and what has it gotten us? Nothing.

I'm finding the StatKing meltdown tonight truly hilarious.

You just need to work through those stages of grief. You'll get there buddy.

yeah, it only cost the OFFENSE 10 though, which is what was being critiqued - only scoring 10 points.

Anyway, yeah STs cost them 10 at least - giving up a 50 yard return is huge too.

All he needed was 1 of the following:

1) a productive running game (nope) 20 carries for 67 yards

2) an OL which could protect to allow his other guys to separate (nope)

3) a second guy who can get open against some mediocre corners(nope)

4) Aaron Jones to walk into the end zone with a 20 yard cushion when he catches it on the 45

5) Lewis not to fumble it.

GB and Rodgers tried to play the hits, but they just weren't working! Their entire offensive identity was shut down!  And he still had 7.7 y/a.

Rodgers wasn't exceptional, the defense by both teams was absolutely great!  Rodgers has had plenty of worse games than this one.  Most of this stuff felt out of his hands tbh.

Correct, nobody won the game for him. This offensive line without Bakhtiari and Jenkins fought a DL with Armstead and Bosa to a bloody draw.

His running game didn't win it for him. He had to win a game, and he ******* couldn't. As far as the Jones reception, throw a good ball and Jones scores there. Instead he had to turn around and stop.

Rodgers says he’ll take time to talk to people around here and then take time for before making a decision about his future before free agency starts.

The most telling thing from his PC, was that he is well aware with our cap situation, we are gonna lose a lot of important guys. Seems like he would be taking that into consideration when making “a decision”. In other words, he’s outta here.
