Always been a Kemba fan, and still hate the Hornets for not taking Booker. That would have been a sick back court. But it does make some sense to trade him and start all over. They are stuck in mediocrity and that isn't ever going to change with the current core. Hard to trade the other pieces aside from maybe attaching them with Kemba.

Kemba has a really nice deal but he is up for free agency next year or the following year?

Devin Booker, Myles Turner, The supposed Boston trade, Bradley Beal, and so on. Thanks Mj.

Walker and Marvin Williams

for

Barton/Lyles/ Chandler and Arthur + Denver's 2018 first. Maybe another young asset like Beasley or Hernangomez rather than Barton. Chandler and Arthur to match salary

Deal might be too little return for Charlotte. Don't see how anyone could take Batum's salary and no one is gonna want Dwight though

Kemba is overrate AF. He’s not making a bit of difference no matter where he goes.

Sure he would.  He isn't a first option on a legit team but he could be a very good 2nd option on a contender or even a 3rd option on a deep team.  Imagine if he was a Spur.  You don't think he would make a difference?

He's improved a lot the last 2 years.  He just has crap around him.  He's not a difference making superstar or anything, but he'd be a very good 2nd option or elite 3rd option.

Yeah, the Hornets have really effed up draft day ever since they were the Bobcats.  So many top draft picks and so many misses.

Plus that refusal of the Boston deal so they could take Kaminsky...oy.

Yeah it sucks big time. The only pick that MJ has hit on is Kemba......

Spurs don’t count. They make trash look like gold all the time.

His on/off #s are pretty ridiculous. I think it is +6 on and -12 off.

Probably because their bench is crap.

Im not saying he’s a bad player but he’s not a star like some make him out to be. He’s like a 3rd tier PG. I wouldn’t give up anything great for him. Point guard are a dime a dozen now. There’s always a handful of good ones coming out of the draft.

Rockets get Nic Batum

Hornets get Wesley Matthews, Josh McRoberts

Mavs get Ryan Anderson, Kemba Walker 2020 unprotected 1st rounder from Houston

Mavs get better, plus pick up an asset for taking on the Anderson Contract

Rockets get a better fit in Batum

Hornets get out of 2 deals for an expiring in mcroberts, and probably an expiring in Matthews as well.
