This is where I think they’re headed at MLB, and I don’t mind it.

I’m sure they’d love to get Bobby Wagner, but I’m equally sure they’re aware that he wouldn’t come here for all the tea in China.

Which leaves Hicks as the best proven veteran who can play a true 4-3 MLB. When he’s healthy, he’s always been a very good player, so I’d be on board. He’s also supposedly good buddies with Wentz, so that might help to get him as comfortable as we can as well.

Gone to the Vikings. 2/$10M.

Obviously, at that exorbitant price, I can see why we had to steer clear!

I hope we do something soon...

Lets see

JD- Draft a guy

Landon- Sucks, cries and is selfish

Brandon- good but not worth the cash

Settle- We have more then enough on the line to produce

Two 3rds we would probably bust on anyways.

Vs

Wentz- Possible solution to franchise QB, can actually play.

I really wouldn’t call Landon Collins selfish and the amount of people who think McKissic is easily replaceable in this scheme is kinda crazy to me

Anthony Walker back to the Browns, taking another MLB off the board.

To my eye, that leaves two legitimate MLBs left in FA: Bobby Wagner and Alexander Johnson.

Given that Wagner inhabits the “yeah, right!” category, I hope they either really like Johnson or have some plan in the draft.

You will get Jon Bostic and you will like it

LB Alexander Johnson
Alexander Johnson has a complicated backstory and got his chance in the NFL late, but he has been consistently excellent in the time he has had. He hits free agency at 30 years old but with just a little over 2,000 career snaps to his name. Johnson should have at least one contract of high-end play in him as a middle linebacker that can do it all but especially bring the wood against the run. Though not his best areas, he can also be productive on the blitz and cover.

RB Leonard Fournette
Fournette has rejuvenated his career in Tampa Bay's duo-heavy rushing attack. He has been one of the best runners in gap schemes in the NFL this season, so it makes sense that he would look for a similar scheme if he doesn't stay with the Buccaneers. Ideally, Fournette would rotate with someone who is better suited to take on the passing-down work that he's picked up over the past few years.

G Daryl Williams
Williams has the versatility to play guard, but his best play in the NFL has consistently come at right tackle — every season he has had at that position has been a good one. When he moves to guard, his consistency is far more hit or miss. That versatility is valuable, but it should be seen more as a bonus when injuries hit because his best play is when he is allowed to start at right tackle consistently.

TE Maxx Williams
While Williams has all the skills to be a No. 1 tight end, we've never seen him as a high-volume pass catcher and he's struggled to stay on the field. However, Williams is one of the league's best run-blockers and he's sure-handed and capable of working the middle of the field as a No. 2 option with No. 1 tight end skills.

WR Keelan Cole
The five quarterbacks to throw the football to Cole the most in his NFL career have been Blake Bortles, Gardner Minshew, Zach Wilson, Mike Glennon and Mike White. It hasn't exactly been the best of circumstances, but Cole has still managed to produce relatively consistent results under those circumstances. He stands out as a decent complementary option who can line up either in the slot or outside.

Trai Turner
Trai Turner has elite tape on his NFL resume, but it came in the first couple of seasons of his career before his performances fell away. This past year in Pittsburgh, he had a relative bounceback season, but it was hugely helped by Ben Roethlisberger's league-fastest average time to throw. Turner showed he can still play.

T Cornelius Lucas
Lucas has been one of the better swing tackles in the league for the last eight years, always answering the bell with solid play when called upon.

LB Ja'Whaun Bentley
Ja'Whaun Bentley was a run-stuffing specialist coming out of the draft, but his NFL career has been more mixed than that. He is an excellent tackler and brings great physicality, but remains limited in coverage and needs to be protected from tough assignments covering better athletes or a lot of space.

I believe we have 20 mill right now which is 10th in the league, this is before Landon as well.

expect a few moves, I could see them possibly addressing 1 or 2 of either FS, MLB, OG, or a potential WR/TE 2

notable names still out there that should come cheaper

I want a big name...

I want to be able to add him to my Washington roster in Madden 22 and see the teams overall rating jumps 3 pts. 😁

Hell..forget an 85... 86 overall.

I want 94...95 overall..

OMG...CMC is coming here, isn't he? Lol
