The majority of their pitching staff is hurt or taking extended leave of absences. Their whole lineup is hitting well below their career numbers average and OBP wise. The average at bats per HR for the entire team is over double their career averages. The promising rookies look lost out there at the plate. Just nothing going right for the Tigers. I think its time for Avila to go but also I am wondering why more aren't calling for Hinch and the hitting coaches. Why arent they making adjustments and helping these guys out of their funks? The sad thing is that if Trout was with another team, they’d manage this and he’d be fine. With the angels staff, it’ll turn into a career ender. Arte Moreno, John Carpino, Perry Minasian, the entire front office, the entire training staff, and the entire coaching staff all need to be launched into the sun.
