I’m intrigued. But at the same time, Randle played in an entirely different time and era. There weren’t 6’5” 320 pound guards who could run sub 5.0 40’s and bench a Volkswagen.

The offensive lineman of yesteryear (not counting just guards; Randle also lined up as a 5/7 tech anyway) were generally better than what we see today. Probably not as fast, but definitely stronger and received far more practice time in NCAA (as they were more likely to both redshirt and play their senior year back then, and also because there were more practices and more padded practices at that). Could you imagine any of our last ~three centers (Bradbury, Elflein, Sullivan) trying to play in the 80's and 90's? Lawrence ate Brad's berries; Lawrence would be your typical (albeit high end) 90's NT.

The NFL continue to propose rule changes to protect DL from various Olineman maneuvers. Some pass, others are tabled until inevitably being passed. Just like manlets can now play receiver easy peasy because of the near abolishment of jamming, route interference, and even the fading away of man coverage as a team's main coverage, small iDL's will be able to succeed.

Take a Vegas ensured chance on Kalijah. That or trade up to #1 to draft Dorian-Thompson Robinson.

We could get him at 23…

or trade up to get him at 1, and assert dominance.

You mean a guy that's projected to go in the 6th-7th rd who only has the upside of a backup QB?  You must be Brad Childress in disguise.
