Xenos
Daniel Kaplan provides more context: https://theathletic.com/news/chargers-owner-sued-by-sister/yj6X9cV4VVWV/ Quote What makes this suit different from the one filed last April? Daniel Kaplan, sports business staff writer: The key difference between the lawsuits is with the latest, Berberian does not push for a sale of the team. In doing so, she should avoid the long arm of the NFL, which ruled her earlier lawsuit belonged in arbitration because it involved team owners arguing over the disposition of a team. Coincidentally, or not, she finally acceded earlier this week to arbitration, days before she would file the latest litigation. Any hope Spanos had of hiding the family feud behind closed doors is now evaporated with the latest development.

I think that is a good question and the right question. A Los Angeles Football franchise is likely worth at least 4 billion to investors. Spanos being one of the cash strapped owners should be forced to sell. The Chargers brand in itself is worth very little in comparison to the Los Angeles Football Team though.

Compared to other owners, not really. Regarding this case, it feels like a cash grab by his sister more than anything substantial.
