I thought the extension was a bad decision in the first place because I didn't think Wilson had a lot of years left as a top-tier QB, but figure it would be worth it still just for the 1-2 years he gives you. But doesn't even look like that is going to happen. Still early in the year, but Hackett seems so inept that this season will likely be a waste for Denver and Wilson either way. But yeah, that contract sounded risky to say the least at the time. But obviously they had to do it considering what they gave up for him.
