Skoroniski seems more like an elite guard than a tackle from what I've seen/read.

Yup, again Chris Simms has him as #1 Guard in the draft.

I agree with your thinking, edge for this team is a far bigger need than any oline position. The sweet spot for a pass catcher either TE or WR is the back end of the 1st, it's not 13 or 15.

If the trade option is there I prefer a trade down from 15(or 13) to 20 something plus gain a late 2nd rounder, take the pass catcher there at the end of the 1st and then have three second-rounders to take a TE or WR, S and OLB/DE in whichever order is the best value.

That that Gute haters!  :)

2014 - HaHa Clinton-Dix
2015 - Damarious Randall
2016 - Kenny Clark
2017 - Traded out
2018 - Jaire Alexander
2019 - Rashan Gary & Darnell Savage
2020 - Jordan Love
2021 - Eric Stokes
2022 - Quay Walker & Devonte Wyatt

Yeah, I'd say they've done alright considering where they've picked

You never know, but his agility numbers are just brutal. May be wrong but don't believe you will find a player the Packers drafted that is even close to that poor.

3-cone times.

Allen Lazard 7.11, Justin Shorter 7.35

Maybe look at Elijah Higgins?

Elijah Higgins RAS

I have seen stuff about moving him to TE, and I very much oppose that.  I know, position names don't mean a whole lot.  I mean I would want him playing the big WR, like Lazard, rather than the tiny TE, if you can pick up what I am laying down.  Like, we praise Lazard for blocking.  If he were lined up as a classic TE every play, I think we would have a different view.  Get this 230 WR out on a DB, or blindsiding a LB and he makes a difference.

Pretty good Round 1.  After that?  Houston, we have a problem.

Might be their best option depending on who is there at 15.

Assuming that Rodgers does get traded to the Jets, and the Pack gets roughly the picks that are kind of expected (2nd this draft, something in 24) ... how many picks can the Pack actually afford to make this draft, cap wise ?
Sure they could finagle getting multiple 2s and 3s one way or another, but can they fit that many new salaries under the cap ?

Easily.

Draft a dozen players, they are cheap labor and the Packers need that right now.

If we're talking day 3 to priority UDFAs at WR, these are some of my guys.

EDIT - Also, when I say "day 3" I mean more of 5th round and beyond. I still kind of picture the 4th round as day 2 for some odd reason.

7.81 RAS
4.57 40 (right on threshold border)
no 3 cone data
1.58 10 yard split

Colton Dowell (UT-Martin)

David Durden (West Florida)

Ryan Miller (Furman)

RE: Skoroniski- there are some teams that have specific guidelines for height, weight, reach etc. for each OL position.  So you look at a guy and see if he's short or his arms don't have ideal length and say "he's a guard."

The Packers are not one of these teams.  The Packers will draft ambiguously positioned guys in both the OL and defensive backfield and let the figure it out.  So if the Packers took Skoroniski they would give him a shot on the outside for sure.  I mean, NFL teams figured Bulaga was a guard but he held down Right Tackle for a number of years.
