They traded 2nd and 3rd rd picks for situational pass rush specialist Corey Williams and lazy sloth, but occasionally good Shaun Rogers and claimed it would be a revolotionary DLine. He claimed Eric Wright would be an elite CB. He claimed Ben and Harrison's 2007 were both flukes and would regress. He claimed the Steelers hadnt drafted that well in years and that Phil Savage was a top 3 GM in the league. The guy spent the entire offseason trying to convince Steeler fans and possibly himself that the Browns were the future kings of the AFC North and the Steelers were going to regress into obscurity. He was so embarrassingly wrong about everything that he completely disappeared in pretty early in the 2008 season and pretty sure he didnt show his face again until the Steelers lost to the Browns in 2009. That was the closest he ever came to redemption. When spush and I brought up everything he was wrong about, he would flat out ignore it. I remember getting into it with the Browns forum mod at the time because I called him out on the Browns forum, and that clown used to try to ban anyone who talked remotely negative about the Browns on their forum, even though nothing I said was anything close to certain things BobBrown had said on our forum. I had that thread bookmarked until the old site went offline. Was funny to go back and read. I recall getting into a debate about calling the Browns an expansion team (they really were!).
