#4 in the NFL in DVOA the last 5 weeks. #4 special teams unit in the NFL over that time.

This is not a team "limping" into the playoffs if it gets in.

not limping in because we'll have won out to get there. That said, this team just doesn't have the horses to be a real threat in the playoffs.

One of the worst run defenses in the league.

pass rush is lacking

offense that just doesn't click. bursts here and there don't usually win you playoff games.

just way too much inconsistency all the way around.

I disagree that we don’t have the horses, but definitely agree that it’s been way too inconsistent. I think we are seeing it all coming together though.

We’ve improved and are playing our best in December, which is a good time to step it up. The problem is we might be literally limping if guys like Watson, Nixon and Nijman don’t get back on the field. Our depth will be tested.

This team has had their injuries at the very worst time starting with Bak a few years ago.  Healthy and hot makes for a great winning combo .. get these guys back healthy!!

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but the secondary was getting abused in the first half before they benched Ford. After they put Savage back in, they looked like a different team and shutout the Dolphins in the second half. Was the benching of Savage a wakeup call that he actually received and now is ready to play up to his potential? His ceiling is still very high, let's hope this is the beginning of great things for him.

It's very likely they benefitted from a concussed QB. Props to the staff though for realizing that Amos and Ford were nowhere near fast enough to compete with that team. Using Savage and Gaines was the right move. Amos looked like he was running in cement, sadly after that performance there's no way I re-sign him.

It was a strange 2nd half for the defense. Dolphins had 4 possessions. The first resulted in a missed FG after we got good pressure on 3rd down from Hollins and Wyatt.

Possession 2: first play INT on the bad overthrow to Alexander.

Possession 3: Miami drove down and we got a fortunate illegal formation call that wiped out a big gain inside the 10 from Waddle. Next play, pick to Campbell.

Possession 4: Pick by Sul on the 2nd play. Another terrible decision by Tua, but also a crafty play by Sul to come off Hill underneath.
