I genuinely cannot believe they're continuing to just force these people to talk about this. Just stop. Go to commercial. Air some re-run of a baseball game or something. Just do anything else.

To play devil's advocate... Not everyone who witnessed that can process it without additional information. If people are disgusted they can turn it off. Asking people who are shaken up to report is ridiculous, but some sense of update/reporting can be a sense of peace for people.

Espn just lost 2 hours of air time on no notice. And millions of people are waiting for updates. Yall want then to run the 1998 bulls finals. Cmon now.

They lost air time? How on earth are they going to make up the money? 🙄

Probably what they are doing right now, making the best of an awful situation. Nobody is perfect.

I'm not putting it on the people having to talk, I'm putting it on ESPN for forcing them to keep saying the same things when they don't have any new information to provide and at this point if you want information you're gonna get it no matter what. Doesn't seem like having Booger Mcfarland repeat for the 50th time that this game doesn't matter is doing anyone any good.

While this aint a concussion, how the NFLPA and NFL handle this going forward will be a very telling point in NFL history.

What can they do. Routine tackle turns into this. I saw some doctor on YouTube they say if you have blunt trama to your heart at the a certain moment of the heart cycle it can cause cardiac arrest. Not sure what league can change to fix it.

oh no 2 hours of air time what are they gonna do?

exactly, it's a no-win situation for espn.

can't air something else, would be considered insensitive.

can't talk about the actual game or nfl playoff pictures, would be considered insensitive.

apparently insensitive to talk about Hamlin's situation too.

Not sure what people expect them to do... cut to black for two hours?

And, IMO, they have the perfect pair on right now. SVP and Ryan Clark. SVP has so much dignity and Clark has had a life threatening event from football.
