Including his MiLB numbers, he's at 15 HBP in 266 PAs (including tonight). Seems like he's just gonna be one of those types that gets hit a lot. MWil23 Posted May 3, 2023 Share Posted May 3, 2023 He's kind of your classic "diver" into the zone based upon his leg kick and shoulder angle, so his elbow is going to end up over the plate A LOT. If you want to get him out, that means throwing inside since he likes to extend his arms, and that is unfortunately going to result in a few HBP.
