cause everybody's silly tbh. i still can't fathom why he was 2nd to Monk that **** was baffling. it was "insane value" he was the only alpha type in the draft last year and had a wicked skill set/nice body. he was a top 5 talent. not to get into this **** again. i dont know why im arguing tbh.. you're right he knows what he's doing. me saying **** never changes anybody's mind. i was a fan until last offseason. even OG was a top 10 talent, perfect fit. he passed on 2 core pieces that weren't even reaches...? but alas i'll leave you alone cause i love you and am being really aggressive because talking about basketball upsets me more than anything lately.

you were right dude. mitchell ended up in the perfect place for him to succeed so you should be happy. just a minor setback for a major nuggets FO comeback tbh

he would've looked even better in DEN. happy you still have faith in your FO. when the faith goes that's when the enjoyment of the sport goes.

eh, i honestly don't think he'd have nearly the same hype but he would have had a solid rookie year. would have come off the bench and had way less volume. would have needed to work a lot more off the ball. it's still a bummer that we don't have him, but he wouldn't be looked at in the same way right now.

Bagley falling to Cleve would be criminal. Cant see that happening. Are you trying to punish Boston for beating you guys??

Nope. Just see the 7 ahead as better fits. Could easily see Bagley being a traditional faller. Plus, what does Boston beating Milwaukee have to do with the NBA draft? lol

Ok then what are you seeing/hearing about J Vanderbilt that leads you to believe that he is worthy of the 27th pick.

High ceiling so he's easily worth a gamble at 27. Fits a role immediately (rebounding/defense) even if he's raw. It's the back end of the 1st so he's more than worth the gamble. I originally had Mo Wagner there but thought more of it and how great a rebounder Vanderbilt is. Stevens would put him in the rotation immediately due to that one skill. 7.9 rebounds per game in 17 minutes. That's elite stuff.

Who are the specialists in this draft?

Ball handling?

Passing?

Rebounding?

Dunking?

Shot blocking?

3-point shooting?

Layup wizardry?

On-Ball defense?

Are there any? This seems like a draft class loaded with all-around players as opposed to guys with specific roles they can fill. I haven't done a lot of research on any of these guys so anyone else who has, are there any Ben Wallace/Kyle Korver/Tony Allen kind of players in this class? Guys that will have one defined role that they are unstoppable at?

Trae Young seems to have special range on his jump shot, but I don't think he was insanely accurate shooting the ball in college IIRC.

this is exactly why I was upset when De'Andre Hunter went back to school. There is 15 guys I am perfectly fine taking at 16 and Hunter would have been the 16th. Of course you mocked all 15 before pick 16.
