DingoLadd
Offense: We're beginning to establish a traditional offense. We want traditional formations and involve Tevin Coleman. Rex Burkhead is the starter in name only. This will be the heavy target Julio gameplan. As he showed recently, he commands attention. His pass interference ability should be crucial against Xavier Rhodes or Josh Norman. All the attention we give Julio should force double coverage. Kirk Cousins can then get Jack Doyle and his RBs involved. Tavon Austin also serves as a checkdown RPO option. It's a limited offense until we establish play action. The stretch runs to Tevin Coleman will switch to inside runs with Frank Gore. We will add Anthony Sherman to be the lead blocker behind a strong running game. Finally each RB will get David DeCastro lead counters to remove predicitibility. TLDR: If Julio is isolated we're getting him around 15 targets. Feed Doyle and run the ball to balance the offense. Remind ourselves the effectiveness of Julio. Defense: We're going to need an epic performance from the DL. Gotham runs as predictable an offense as any in BDL. Carson Wentz is extremely versatile in exploiting defenses so it balances out. We anticipate owning advantages throughout as Gotham lacks an elite player whereas we have two top tier defensive lineman. With a two TE set or a three receiver set featuring Amora Darboh/Breshad Perriman this is a limited offense in terms of target share. Derrick Henry has some limitations as a receiving back, and he's by the far the greatest backfield presence on the roster. Ultimately if one is sold on our defensive line, this is a game Calais Campbell and Fletcher Cox allow other edge rushers to get pressure and lessen the responsibility of the secondary. TLDR: Establish our presence upfront. Force Wentz to win the game by matching our offense. OFFENSE - 2 WR/2 TE/RB Again, we’re giving Wentz free reign over this offense against a strong Cuba squad. We are going to utilize a balanced offense with a 60:40 anticipated pass:run ratio. With Derek Wolfe out, suddenly Cuba is thin on the D Line and we believe pounding the rock, which may not be successful early, will pay dividends late in the game. We will run towards the defensive left side often, running at old man Suggs relentlessly with pulling guards Another area we will attack is the boundaries of Cuba’s defense. With Trufant out, we feel we can take advantage of a subpar cornerback group. We feel Wentz will be able to get the ball to Thomas and Landry often to move the chains and get some scores through the air. We will also target Davis and Wilson if we see doubles on the outside, particularly on third down and in the red zone. DEFENSE - Standard 43 with Cover 1 concepts I like Cousins as a player and have respect for his game. In his current situation, we feel stopping the connection between him and Julio is paramount to stopping this offense. To that end, we will bracket him consistently throughout the contest. Our CBs in Rhodes and Norman will play sides, but whoever Julio lines up with, they will have help over the top from Justin Simmons. Whoever is not lined up on Julio will be on an island. Stopping Frank Gore is not the hardest of assignments, we will look to lay heavy hits on him with run blitzes from all of our linebackers. Getting to Cousins will be our biggest challenge as injuries have taken their toll. We will incorporate many different looks with our front 7, mixing in blitzes from McKinney and Geathers. pheltzbahr
Julio with a 2/24 line against Rhodes yesterday. He's pretty good.
MD4L
By doubling him you make things easier for the other players.
DingoLadd
Outside of Julio and some decent RBs I do not see Cuba moving the ball all that much, Gotham in a surprising smack-down. Gotham 28-7. Not to mention Cuba is missing some key personnel on defense that will make it easiier for Wentz.
Jlash
Just a bad matchup for Cuba in this one as Gotham's CB's are built for big physical players. Also, that cornerback duo is pretty bad. Brown was recently demoted and I can count on one hand how many snaps Dunbar plays on defense each week lately.
bcb1213
trufant missing is killing cuba right now, they just don't have an answer for Gotham's wideouts at the moment and Julio without much else weapon squad just won't be able to keep up
Hockey5djh
TL;DR game plans.... Cuba's offensive game plan: We have Julio Gotham's defensive game plan: We're going to double Julio Cuba's defensive game plan: Their offense isn't good, we have Campbell and Cox Gotham's offensive game plan: We're gonna run over their ends and throw to the outside. I think I covered all of it....and I think Gotham wins.
Scoundrel
Gotham's back 7 is sexy. Plus with Wentz leading the charge he can match the Cuba offense. They get the W here.

Ragnarok
yeah, injuries have cost Cuba even more than they have Gotham. Gotham gets it.
Xmad
I meant to vote Gotham but it doesn't really matter at this point. Cuba gets run over and their injuries aren't helping.
