He ended up agreeing to a deal just $6 million more TOTAL than Da'Ron Payne and Dexter Lawrence got, over the same number of years, but he got about $20 million more in guaranteed money. It's really interesting to see how a market shakes out when there is a top guy, making top money, who even other players acknowledge they won't come close to and don't want to get paid more than.
