Best Players cut?

Hard to rank them and sure there are still some that have not been listed yet....  I think I viewed all the current lists.  Here are the standouts I feel potentially that were cut, sure there are some more to come that I missed...  Added Tarron Jackson, surprised the Eagles cut him with their lack of depth on the edge with Barnett coming back from injury and Nolan Smith/Reddick being hurt currently.

It is crazy, you slip or dip in production at all as a player you will get cut in a second no thought about it.  Drafted players from just a few months ago were cut and a ton of them were.  It is damn hard to get on a NFL roster with so much talent constantly coming into the league through college football.  You have to be at the top of your game year in and year out otherwise you are out.

Rashard Lawrence doesn't belong in any best player to get cut lists lol. Only reason he was cut so late is because Steve Keim was allergic to the DT position. The Cardinals' best player on the IDL the last four seasons is the referee. Caused more disruption than Lawrence ever could. He's had an easy path to being a starter and consistently couldn't even beat out the Cardinals' back-ups. Name one good Cardinals DT from the last four years. Allen and Watt were both used on the edge.

Nathan Rourke
Bailey Zappe
Brett Rypien

Alex Leatherwood (awful, but hyped prospect) I do not get this awful talk, he was not that bad on the Bears this preseason and is back to guard where he is far better than at tackle and again is a guard now

OG
Jalen Mayfield (awful, but hyped prospect) I did not include him because his career could be over but I guess maybe he still has a shot somewhere maybe I should
Andrew Vorhees (injured) I did not really count injured guys
Wyatt Davis (awful, but hyped prospect) Sadly his career is probably over

Ventrell Miller
Nicholas Marrow
Jaylon Smith

Kuntz ay? A name that nearly all of us mock-drafted to our own teams in the 6th round

Why not, his is such an elite athlete for that size with a ton of upside, I would be surprised if he does not stick around the league and get a shot next year or at least on a practice squad this year.

Zappe and Desmond King.

I feel like Dan Arnold should make a squad

Yeah I thought Arnold was a good player the last few years but the Eagles obviously like Stoll and Galcaterra more.  Even better they traded for Okwuegbunam on Denver so now are totally loaded at TE, and he was not used properly on Denver he could have a huge year.  They also got rid of Tyree Jackson who was good at TE a few years back but never continued to develop and got hurt.

Zappe could be the biggest surprised because he is a QB, but Gipson to me could be the biggest surprise, especially for a team that needs pass rushers.  Clearly they like Robinsons long term future more but Gipson is powerful and can really knife into the backfield, have 5 forced fumbles in 2021 and had a good preseason this year I thought.

Bailey Zappe, QB

Definitely shocking. Not sure how he didn't make it in NE, especially given the state of their QB room.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Quincy Roche, OLB

Always been a big fan. He was kind of on their chopping block, but he has some real juice as an edge rusher.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Marlon Davidson, DL

Always loved the talent as a prospect. Seems like he's been middling at best his entire career despite the hype.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Josiah Scott, CB

Always liked him. Surprised he hasn't caught on as a starting nickel somewhere, but I haven't really followed him since college.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Zach McCloud, LB

Loved him at Miami. He is a man without a true fit in today's NFL, as SAM linebackers are few & far between.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Kyu Blu Kelly, CB

Jaw on the floor shocked. I had a 1st round grade on this dude. Wow.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Zach Kuntz, TE

He was always overrated as a prospect, but surprised he wasn't a 3rd TE on potential alone.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Demetric Felton Jr, WR/RB

I like Felton. He was productive when he played, but not really dynamic as a WR/RB/KR/PR. Quick and has good hands.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Zonovan Knight, RB

Not shocked he didn't stay on with that room, but I love his running style. Punishing and straight forward.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Dewayne McBride, RB

Wasn't a huge McBride fan as he lacks any trait that I'd say is above average. That said, surprised he didn't make it in Minnesota, where there seems to be a need.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Max Duggan, QB

This one sucks. I know Duggan is a terrible QB, but I love the kid. Plays with so much balls. I'd consider moving him to FB/TE to see if he could make some noise there.

9 hours ago, Ozzy said:

Tiawan Mullen, CB

Another surprising cut. I loved his tape in college & thought he was going to do enough to make it on a roster. He's fast and aggressive.

I did not like Kelly that much, not near 1st round grade but had some moments in the preseason and that CB spot is so weak in terms of depth for the Ravens.  Very surprised arguably the most talented youthful corner they had they cut.  Humphrey is hurt, Damarion Williams is hurt and not sure Ronald Darby has much left in him and Armour-Davis I would rather have Kelly but I guess they thought otherwise.

McCloud had 3 sacks against the Vikings that last game, but Vikings backup OL is pretty bad so there is that.  He could rush on the edge and might stick around the league I think.

With Scott I like him as a tackler and no question he catches on somewhere.  With the McPhearson injury I thought he had a good chance to be the backup slot but they kept Ringo and Ricks when I thought one of those two would be cut, most likely Ringo but they clearly like his long term potential more.

McBride on the Vikings I liked his power and he came on later despite back OL blocking by the 2nd group.  They just signed Myles Gaskin so I guess that is their back for a bit with he and Ty Chandler.  McBride might stick around but does have to work on his vision and ability to make you miss.
