CP3MVP
I feel like if they ever win a title with Allen it’s not gonna be with this core group around him. Like the Diggs, White, Hyde, Poyer, Knox, Dawkins, era is done. 2021 was probably their year. Then they put everything into 2022 and it failed again. I also feel in general we overrate how big the window are for teams for Star QBs in general. If you have a GOAT level Player like Mahomes yeah you will be contenders for every year but regular just great QBs I don’t think so Edited October 25, 2023 by CP3MVP
RaidersAreOne
It will never be closed as long as Josh Allen is their QB and remains healthy.

People always say this but where’s the evidence of this? The saints weren’t contenders every year with Brees, neither were the packers with Rodgers or the Seahawks with Russell. We can even go back to the dolphins with Marino. They were only REALLY contenders like 6 of his 17 seasons.
notthatbluestuff
They haven't accomplished much more than Vrabel's Titans. I agree, not sure why people insist their window is wide open. The peak of the Allen era was losing to the Chiefs in a very exciting playoff game (their AFC title clash, on the other hand, was comparatively less interesting as the Bills were overmatched). viking
Seriously low chance Josh Allen has a playoff run as good as 2021 ever again or the bills have a team as good as 2021 ever again.
MKnight82
I just think they got hit with a lot of injuries this year.

Seahawks drafted like trash after the initial years, that's the reason they didn't have a 2nd window. Rodgers had back-to-back #1 seeds the past few years. As long as a team can draft to replace their talent, then the QB contract won't tie down the team and there's still a window because finding elite level QB talent is a 1% proposition. AZ_Eaglesfan
You just have to make it to the dance with a guy like Allen on your team. Sure they might not be the favorite, but you will never want your team to play them in the playoffs because you never know when Allen might just go Superman and carry them to a win. NFL champions aren’t born from being the best team. They are born from being hot at the right time. The Bills are capable of doing that still imo.

The trend lately is actually the opposite just look at the last 6 superbowl champs lol.
AkronsWitness
Not a chance IMO. Their problems are relatively easy to fix. Starting with getting a legit WR2 on the team to help open the offense up and make it less predictable (no offense Gabe). Their defense needs to get healthy and they have the horses there and maybe a little bit of a philosophy shift from the OC to become a more balanced team. You know like...using Cook/Murray for more than 8 carries a game. Relying on Allen to throw/run the ball 40x a game (30x to Diggs) to win every week aint it cheif. They need more options, they need to become more dynamic on offense. Good news though--offensive skill position players are the easiest thing to find/trade for in the NFL. BetterCallSaul
No, but I don't think they're gonna win a championship. They're too inconsistent and it's pretty damn hard to win without a run game.

Shoulda Woulda coulda. The saints missed the playoffs 6 years out of Brees prime(07,08,12,14,15,16). Which goes back to my original point, just because you have a great QB doesn’t mean you’re contenders every year.
