I believe the game will be decided by SF's defensive line. They aqcuired a load of talent in Javon Hargrave, Chase Young, and Randy Gregory. So far, SF hasn't needed them... but these three haven't shown up much even so. Today, with two strong offenses (and Detroit's defense presumably not stopping SF often), the game depends on if SF's front 4 pass rush can take possessions away from Detroit. If they do, SF wins. If they don't it's a toss up.

Through 1 quarter, this holds true.

SF is in danger of being the 2020's version of the 2000's Eagles.

If I don’t see someone post a reactionary “Is Goff the best QB in the NFL” thread after this game I’m going to be so disappointed in this forum.

When you want something done right, do it yourself.

I know SF isn't built to come from behind but this is definitely the opponent to do it against.

Maybe not down with 7 minutes left but with 3 other quarters? Plenty of time

Ok Kyle down 14-0 let’s see what you got. This is where a team leans on their franchise QB to pull them out of this hole and get back into the game. So let’s see what Kyle does and what if Purdy can build off that game winning drive against the Packers.

The Lions are looking impressive. I love that I’m seeing from them.

This is like 7-0 down. 2TD is nothing. 49ers will have the lead at the half if they score a TD here.

Then check out the GameFAQs forum. There's bound to be one there. They actually made multiple threads about Lamar Jackson being as good as Tom Brady (earlier in the week).

This is pretty damn close, tbh
