The teams with the best offense/defense are typically going to be raided each season.  Not sure why that would be tough for anyone to understand.  It's not complicated.

It's not tough for anyone to understand, point was it doesn't mean success will follow just because a team is trying to take from another's system. It didn't work with trying to duplicate the Patriot way and there is no evidence that taking from the Ravens will work either. Maybe...maybe not, just saying people may want to pump the brakes a little here is all.

Not sure what Jim Leonhard is up to .. he's turned down the opportunity to interview at several top colleges, and has passed up chances with GB and possibly Philly as well in the past.  He had a shot at the Philly DC gig last year, but cited an offseason surgery and wanting time to recover.  Two years before he passed up the Pack.  Took a superficial role at Illinois last year, and seems content to stay there again this year.  I thought for sure he was waiting on the GB job to open up again.  May have burnt a bridge there, but I do think he'd be the top candidate in GB if everything was good between he and LaFleur.

Evero seems like he'd be right at the top of the list if he can get out of his Carolina deal.

Dennard is probably the #1 candidate right now based off of who is getting interviewed.  Parker is probably #2.

Orr, Durde, and Staley are probably long shots.

Babich was a god candidate, but now out of the running.

Who else should LaFleur be looking at?

To paraphrase .. past performance is indicative of future gain.  Barry showed us this and MLF made the mistake of hiring him in spite of that.  All one can expect to go on is how has he performed in a previous job/position/setting.  Agree that the team doesn't really matter but how he performed for that team does.  Losing Babich to the Bills sucks, thought he would have been pretty good at it.  See what turns up now.

Johnson staying in Detroit (lame) and Glenn going to Was could crate another DC opening

Ben Johnson must be a weirdo or something. Maybe he's McDaniels 2.0. Two years in a row he's a been a "can't miss" HC candidate only to "decide" to go back to Detroit.

Dennard would be a god damn home run. He's gonna be a superstar.

Yea, he should be the guy IMO. Just hope Murphy and Co. don't give him some bull**** about "well, we want you keep our positional coaches." Just give Wilson the keys and stay out of his way.

Might be a smart move on his part. Washington is a ****ty franchise until they prove they are not. The roster is pretty void of talent too, so even if the new owner knows what he's doing, it could take more than a few years before they are on the right track.
