How? Use your brain and watch the play. It was blocked perfectly, Murray just screwed it up.

The message that play sends is absolute garbage. For so many reasons. You're taking the ball out of your quarterback's hands on the biggest play of the game when he had been making the right decision on third down all game. You're completely saying that you're fine settling for a field goal. You're not even giving it to your best running back.

Play to win. It's a sorry excuse of a decision from a sorry excuse of a coaching staff.

No, it wasn't. There was a cutback lane, but the way the run was designed to go, there's a LBer that comes underneath Conklin and meets Murray in the backfield.

It is playing to win. Most RB's would get that first down if that was blocked how it was. You get the first down, reset and get further into better FG range and run the clock out. Murray is just garbage. It sucks, but it's not on the coaches.

Game is on Delanie. Dude is a dumpster fire two weeks in a row.

Instead of putting faith in your quarterback, you put the ball in the hands of a guy that has been missing holes and running into linemen all year. Is it supposed to be a surprise when he yet again missed a hole and runs into the back of his line?

HUH..... I have watched the play...  it was a run to right guard...  the right side gave up huge penetration. 4 five yards in the back field by the time Murray got the ball.  Yeah.. Murray could have maybe done a better job cutting to his right but it wasn't blocked much better that side and his guard was pushed into him as he was trying to cut to the left.. was in the way on the cut in fact..  there just wasn't room enough and YES Murray isn't the best back when their is penetration like that but there are few that are.  Blaming him is just wrong on that play.

Oh, the RB did the same thing he has done 50 times this year?

Sad this team can't get out of it's own way.

Jackson dropped an INT.
Blown coverage by the defense.

Can't play a complete game.
First time in a while the offense looked like it had some kind of purpose. and the defense lets us down.
Jimmy G was carving them up all game.

49ers offensive staff out coached the defense.

If Murray wasn't a bum no one would be talking about it.

The reality is that he has been all year long and our coaching staff put the ball in his hands on the most crucial play of the game. That's just as much an indictment on the coaching staff as it is on DeMarco. Just gut wrenching.

That was a bad call on 3-2.  Was moving the ball.
Sums up the frustration with Robiskie.

I get the thought that you should be able to get 2 yards, but just doesn't seem like a good call.  I'm sure if he would have gotten sacked, we would be saying why not run it for 2 yards.
The summation of this offense leads to frustration as long as that wasn't converted.  It would have been a bad call either way.
