Sugashane Posted May 9 Share Posted May 9 Hurricanes. I live in Illinois though so that's why. Realistically flooding would be one I could remain potentially unscathed. Tornados have ripped through along the Chesapeake Bay of serious strength, hurricanes present a problem, we’ve had blizzards and snowmageddon in the past, a derecho took out power for close to a week around the state capital Annapolis……..so maybe an avalanche since we’re flat in this part of the state with no mountains. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I lived in Virginia Beach during snowmageddon... not fun. My little brother had his school hours get increased to 10 hour days and they did 6 day weeks to make up for all those weeks they were out. We were able to melt the first snow off with a hose, had to use the blower to get the rest of it down to the hose to melt it.
