Vladimir L
JD took a hard hit that made him rethink running he didn’t really make throws down the field and couldn’t get the ball into the end zone wasn’t a terrible game for him but was just sort of meh ace once again you jumped the gun Marvin Harrison looked like an all pro and not just some rookie and Williams hasn’t played yet
e16bball
It was a pretty grim day for most of the Washington rookies. Newton didn’t play again, Sainristil got beat for a TD, Sinnott had a false start inside the 5 yard line, and Coleman got beat badly by Thibodeaux a couple times before limping off. With that said, I personally do not think Jayden was just “meh.” You see the traits that they loved: smart, accurate, quick processor, ball protector, and special legs. Completing 75% of his passes out of the gate, and while the air yards are going to be very low, you can absolutely make do with 7.7 Y/A. No turnovers so far, and he’s also going to have more rushing yards than any QB in history through 2 weeks of his rookie year. They scored on all 7 of their drives today, which speaks to the level of consistency we’re talking about here. And he led the game-winning drive, including a big throw to Noah Brown and a big run of his own. It might not be an A+, but it’s hard not to be pretty satisfied so far. Play calling has been solid but when they get inside the 10 makes me want to rip my hair out JD should have had 2-3 passing TD this game and should have been a blow out he also doesn’t seem to trust McLaren and won’t throw the ball down field mostly quick outs and slants giants are one of the better front

Had Ramsey on him most of the time. 2) Maason Smith. Played 29 defensive snaps. Had no tackles but have seen some flashes of game changing abilities. 3) Jarrian Jones. Played 19 snaps. Jags rotated a good amount of players depending on matchups. I thought he held his own. 4) javon foster. I'm expecting weekly inactive unless injuries. We have 10 OL on the 53. 4) Jordan Jefferson. I suspect a weekly inactive candidate this year as we have about 11 DL/edges on the roster and 3 were inactive. 5) deantre prince. Probably will be a special teams guy as he's probably cb 5 on the roster. 6) kielen Robinson. Ir. I don't see the point to bringing him back as we have 3 excellent return guys. 6) Cam little. Huge leg and is accurate. 7) Myles Cole. Played maybe 20 snaps. Definitely can chalk him as a hit if he's a rotational quality. Thomas showed out . Smith was healthy scratch today. Jones played relatively well. Foster healthy inactive Jefferson healthy inactive Prince. Played a little on defense. Probably cb 5 on the roster. Robinson still on it Little had a missed fg today from 43(hit upright). Cole played decent for a raw 7th round guy.

Only one pressure all game. This is why I wouldn’t put Max in the top 10 as defensive player. Just no good. But Joe Alt looks to be the next great T. This is why nobody takes you seriously.
minutemancl
Malik Nabers is a stud. Currently 4th in the NFL in receiving yards and tied for 2nd in receptions. Added his 1st career touchdown this week. 3rd round rookie CB Andru Phillips out of Kentucky is also a stud. He only had 16 snaps week 1 and looked amazing, so it was curious why he didn't play more. He finally played more this week and was phenomenal, both in coverage and against the run. Had a sack and multiple TFLs this week. He was our 2nd best player after Dexter Lawrence (unfortunately, then there is a MASSIVE dropoff. Okereke, Burns, Kayvon have been invisible). Tyler Nubin so far has been good, Theo Johnson has been fine. Nothing really to write home about with anyone else so far. But the Giants haven't had an actual hit in the 3rd round since Mario Manningham. Phillips being a standout already is huge. Funnily enough, we know not to even give any credit to the FO for that pick, since they lucked into him by the virtue of Lassiter and Kool-Aid getting picked right before their pick in the 2nd (thanks Hard Knocks). Side note, no team is ever going to do that type of Hard Knocks again. When Schoen gets fired in a few months, those clips are going to haunt him forever.

Daniel
JC Latham allowed zero pressures against the Jets. I don't think that's going to be the norm going forward, but he was pretty great this week. Huge improvement. Everything about him since the draft makes it seem like he might be the answer the Titans have been looking for at LT. Sweat is still doing his thing, not showing up on the stat sheet but sucking up double teams and collapsing pockets. Brownlee also has no changes. Played against the Jets, got some tackles. Harrell as well, got some playing time, got some tackles. Jha'Quan Jackson struggled in the return game against the Jets. Bit of a step backwards. Still eager to see what he can bring as an actual receiver though.

NYJets4716
Braelon Allen scored 2 TDs. He is big, strong, fast, can catch, and block. All the other Jets rookies haven't played much yet. Olu Fashanu is behind Tyron Smith who has been playing at a high level still.
