The only title he has is when the Packers had the second best defense in the NFL. He isnt going to win playing his backyard football in the playoffs.

Hey, whatever helps you sleep at night. Rodgers doesn’t need a number one defense to win a championship. All he needs is a competent defense. Top 10 would be ideal.

and 0 even top 10 defenses since then.  Newsflash it's tough to win with a bad defense, that doesn't mean it has to be elite.

It kinda does need to be a top ten scoring defense, or at least one that gets a lot of takeaways, or goes on a streak during the postseason.  You can win with an elite offense and an average/below average defense, but it's rare.  In 2010, Rodgers had the number 2 scoring defense and the number 2 takeaways. Since then it's been 19, 11, 24, 13, 12, 21, 26.  And in takeaways since 2011, has been 2, 18, 22, 9, 20, 13, 15.

by your stupid logic bill polian was one of the best gms ever.

Bill Polian is one of the best GMs ever. Even if you take away every single accomplishment he had with the Colts “because he lucked into Peyton Manning”, he’s still would have a Hall of Fame résumé.

It's like people forgot about what Polian and Marv Levy did with the Bills, heck... even the expansion Panthers who made it to the NFCCG in their 2nd year of existence.

Oh hell no.  Myself and a number of others have thought TT needed to go for a while.

I want Eliot Wolf.

Hmm for the most part packers fans still back Thompson. Wasn't expecting that. Usually when things get ugly, ignorant fans like to trash everything even after praising it all in prior years.

While undoubtedly overrepresented on this site, the "In Ted We Trust" Packer fan crowd actually constitutes a minority of Packer fans.

The majority recognize Thompson has failed the organization the past 7 years and are celebrating not just Thompson moving on but Capers firing as well.
