Siman08/OH Posted February 5, 2019 Share Posted February 5, 2019 A couple POSITIVE thoughts from last year: We had the #8 passing defense Blake Martinez had 144 tackles and 5 sacks as an ILB. Compare that to Ray Lewis/Brian Urlacher/Junior Seau and Patrick Willis on a single season basis. Kenny Clark had 6 sacks as a NT. We had two rookie CBs with over 10 PDs Geronimo Allison was on pace for a 1200 yard season. Jamaal Williams has 1500 YDS from scrimmage and 9 TDs in 15 career starts. By Expected Points Allowed, they were also 6th worst. Passer rating allowed, 5th worst. NY/A (doesn't factor in sacks) they were 10th worst. The passing defense was bad last year.
