Scoremore
Packers are working out Jake Fromm. Stud in college and smart player. With Cliffy and Pratt don't think he'll have a chance but like this kid coming out. Ran across it on Packer Wire. Just found it interesting see if they bring him in for camp.

Just like the way he plays the game. Heady. He was drafted in the 5th round so it's not like he's totally devoid of talent. He could develop into a decent back up QB. Doubt he'll beat out either Cliffy or Pratt but Gute is sure leaving no stone unturned. We'll see if they bring him into camp. Guess we have one spot open. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2883664-jake-fromm-nfl-draft-2020-scouting-report-for-buffalo-bills-pick Scouting report. ThatJerkDave
Jake Fromm got absolutely ripped off by the timing of NIL. He isn't good enough to be in a commercial now, but in college he could have been Jake Fromm State Farm, and it would have been hilarious and lucrative.

I actually wonder how much Fromm will ultimately receive from the NCAA's NIL settlement. His years at Georgia are right where the settlement is supposed to provide back pay for the college players who blocked from earning NIL during their college career. And as much as I laugh at Dave’s joke, that is the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Fromm’s name. He would have cashed in at Georgia. St Vince
I thought this Love contract would be done already, im getting nervous. They must be doing some serious haggling. Think the holdup is guaranteed money and out clauses. Love played great but possibly paying him 60M per is very risky given the small sample size. Loves agent must really be playing hardball. HighCalebR
I'm just the opposite of nervous about this contract. Loves gonna be a Packer. His structure will just effect other contract structures and Ball has to figure that out. But it'll be done.

Making him the highest paid and he regresses then what? Stuck paying him 60M with no out clauses will cripple this team. I think the Lawrence deal is fair for Love. If his agent wants more than that he's being greedy and over zealous.

If his agent wants more than that he's being greedy and over zealous. It doesn't matter. If he's the highest priced QB (reeeeeally doubt it) we'll be fine, because the money will balloon in future years and at that point either we burn a year or two to move on because he regressed or we just move that money down the road in the next contract extension.. If he regresses we're ****ed if he was being paid 10m less anyways.. Being greedy is an agents whole *** job. Mulugheta is great at his job. Ball is also a top notch money guy, we're going to be fine. There will be no home town discount, we knew the risks when we took Love, and then waited so long to sign him back so we could be sure he was our guy. If they wanted him cheap they should've gambled a little harder in the middle of last year. If we "overpay" Jordan, maybe we can't re-sign 30 year old Clark. Which for sure bummer, but should recoup a 3rd back. Otherwise it'll be a couple B level contracts that turn into street FA contracts. Worrying about the cap is pointless.
