Driver was not happy about being guided out, and he felt he still had a lot to offer. Same thing just happens to Thompson. I don't think it's that unreasonable of a conclusion to draw. Shanedorf
Except Thompson actually signed Driver to a deal to keep him a year longer than he should have... Driver got better treatment than most and it wasn't because of his play on the field. " Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver signed a two-year contract extension on Friday. Financial terms were not immediately available. Driver is now signed through the 2012 season, when he will be 38. "Now I know I'm going to retire a Green Bay Packer," Driver said. "It's a great feeling."

I'm guessing here but it makes sense that we play the Vikings twice vs. them playing us twice and the third place teams in the other NFC divisions were closer to the first place teams than we were last year. MacReady
Just now, Pugger said: Why would this be when we didn't even win our division? Because we have to play the Vikings and Lions (who finished with the better record), but the Vikings and Lions "get" to play us. That's why our SOS is tougher than Minnesota's. All the other divisions and teams that we play are the same as the Vikings except for division rankings, and that disparity wasn't as much as the disparity between our records and Minnesota's/Detroit's. Pugger
OIC I didn't think of that - playing MN and Detroit twice.
Leader
Five moves each NFC North, NFC East team should make this offseason 1. Extend Aaron Rodgers contract. 2. Extend Jordy Nelson. 3. Ask Randall Cobb to take a pay cut and release him if he declines. 4. Add a tight end in free agency. Again. 5. Upgrade at backup quarterback. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/BarnwellxFiveNFCMoves2018/five-moves-nfc-team-make-2018-nfl-offseason-trades-free-agency-cuts-bill-barnwell

Leader
I'd prefer younger than Graham if available. Experienced.....but younger.
