Not a great look. Instead of focusing on improving our team we basically just spent however long negotiating on behalf of the Bears so they now have Fuller for 4 years instead of 1.

With low guaranteed money, it was a no brainer Bears would match.

One should not be so negative.  Please do not in the future point these things out because some people are just sick of it.

I mean, you're not going to sign a guy to an offer sheet for more than you're willing to pay him...  It doesn't make sense to try to "screw" the tagging team since what if they don't match?  Just sign him to a deal you'd be happy with and if they match, they match and if they don't then you get a guy for a number you don't regret.

Another one to cross the off the list.

Now it down to:

Fuller (if Bears choses not to match)

Breeland (if he can sort his foot out)

Revis (Plug and play in Pettine scheme)

Byron Maxwell (what's the knock on him?)

Darby in a trade if rumors about him being available are true.

Cockrell or Marcus Williams (A throw of a dart)

DRC (re-visit if FA and draft doesnt work out)

Kinda upset with the Patriots getting a few smaller free agent additions.  They're losing some good players so they're still worse off than they were at the start of the offseason, but Hill could do pretty good things for them.

Saints owner Tom Benson was not a fan of Suh's antics at all.

When asked about Suh two years ago he replied  "the Saints will sign that bum over my dead body"

I guess he was right

Maxwell could be on his way back to Seattle.

List of Packers CB attempts so far:

Trumaine Johnson - Failed

Richard Sherman - Failed

Bashaud Breeland - Failed (now potentially available)

Rashaan Melvin - Failed

Kyle Fuller - Failed

Were we ever interested in Amukamara? Am I missing anyone else?

Delvin Breaux (injury history scares me but he's a good corner)
Bashaud Breeland (depending on his foot)
Bryce Callahan (do the Bears have enough room to match something decent?)
Ross Cockrell (came on pretty strong at the end of the year for the Giants)
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (late last option type of signing)
EJ Gaines (best of the bunch left outside of Honey Badger)
Dontae Johnson (intriguing size and speed combo, still only 26)
Tyrann Mathieu (self explanatory)
Darrelle Revis (as was said above, plug and play)
Marcus Williams  (does he know Pettine's system?)

Still options on the table. Not really that worried.

If that was our ceiling on Fuller, it's no wonder we're not pulling any Free Agents at the position.

When you negotiate an offer sheet, you negotiate the highest contrct you'd be willing to pay. The Bears were probably shocked at how good that deal was.
