Marcus Peters traded to Rams

Lets take a moment to appreciate the unbelievable drafting of John Dorsey over the past few years. Ignoring off-field stuff (because obv this board doesn't allow it), Dorsey has added Kelce, Hill, Peters, and Hunt to this team from 2013-17. That's unreal. That's 4 of the best young players at their respective positions and the Chiefs didn't draft any of these guys top 10.

Dude is gonna make Cleveland relevant.

Reid destroying another franchise. Here's to hoping the Chiefs don't get their own "Chip Kelly" to clean up his mess.

Yeah, that would truly set them into the cellar of the NFL.

Then they'd have a chance at hiring a legit coach and winning it all.

Good to see him get traded not only out of the division, but out of the conference. Peters was one of Derek Carr's favorite receivers.

He was not that good against Oak.  2 int against us in five games is good but he would get beat all game long by Cooper.  Carr would just look the other way and can not play well in KC.  When they finally decided to throw his way in 2016 he had 10 rec for 129 yds and last year he had 11 catches for 210 yds and 2 tds.  Both games in OAk but even when they played in KC Cooper would do the same.  The issue was with Carr.  In the 2016 game in KC Cooper smoked Peters for what should have been a 72 yard TD which would have given him another 100 yd day.  Not saying Peters is not an elite CB but any Raiders fan that says they are happy he is leaving needs to re-watch the games.

Why do we still not officially know the full terms of a trade that has already been agreed upon by both teams?

Probably because it's not going to be official until March.  It's already been reported that it's not their 1st round pick being dealt to the Chiefs, and they already traded their 2nd round pick to the Bills so the earliest pick they could deal is their 3rd round pick this year.  They own all their picks next year so they probably could deal any of those.  Two 3rd seems a bit light for Peters, and a 1st next year is probably a bit heavy.  Figure a 3rd this year, 2nd next year, and a conditional pick potenially?
