It begs the question, Did Thompson make an error in not paying Hayward enough to stay here? Or did the Packers defensive coaching staff fail to utilize Hayward's skills to the point where paying him big money would have made sense? Randall costed us Hayward... It was a mistake letting him go too soon, but it's not like this doesn't happen in the NFL all the time where a player leaves and plays better on a different team. I'd be more saltier if he was playing at an All pro or Pro bowler level like he has now before we let him go. IIRC didn't we try him outside in 2015 and it didn't work out? If Shields didn't lose his career nobody here cares about this. Hayward struggled with boundary play and injuries while he was here. It just didn't work to keep him around at that time. Doesn't mean it has to be someone's fault.

We need a boundary CB and Hayward always excelled in the slot. oh yeah, SAN DIEGO HAS A FAR BETTER PASS RUSH THAN WE DO!!!

Since Shields is the one whose career was "temporarily" ended with concussions, it is obviously Sam Shields' fault

He was our starting Corner, and probably would still be if he did have his unfortunate injury. It wouldn't be as big as a hit if Shields was still starting for us. Nick_gb
I don't know if anyone is bulimic on these boards or have a spouse / significant other that is. However, if you do? I would strongly encourage you/them toread this article as opposed to sticking your/their fingers down your/their throat. End results are same. Sasquatch
Not gonna read this stupid article, but one of TT’s mistake was replacing talent with rookies. Sure, you can’t resign everyone, but some of the talent that he let go was a real head-scratcher.
waterfish_21
Stopped reading after the paragraph on our RB's. Basically they were drafted late so we are a failure at RB according to the article. I'm assuming he talks about how Earthlings are a failure because the sun will burn out in 5 billion years.
