Apparition
The Mariners being 20 games over .500 with a +16 run differential is something else.
playmaker8267
That's Jackie Bradley Jr.'s run right there. He tried to be a hero when he had no chance of catching that ball and Torres ends up on 3rd base.
pollino14
Quickest way to my heart is to produce against the Sox, go Andujar!

MightyMouse07
Oliver Perez (LHP) came in to face Dustin Fowler (LHH). The A's pinch hit Mark Canha (RHH). Perez threw his warm up pitches and then the Indians intentionally walked Canha. Then the A's pinch hit Chad Pinder (RHH) for Matt Joyce (LHH), and after it was announced Francona came out and pulled Perez for McAllister (RHP). So Perez threw no pitches but faced one batter and walked him.
NateDawg
Not sure if all games in Oakland are like this, but all those background instruments from the crowd are super obnoxious.

We gotta make up for having a small crowd. I honestly think it’s a NorCal thing. Kings fans used Cowbells in ARCO growing up. I never really hear the weird instruments at O.Co though. It is. And yes, it's terrible. I dont get how their own fans even stand it.

Leader
Nice NYY win last night. CC was sharp - pitch count was tight - he saved our BP arms for the rest of this series. NYY Most Valuable (Non)Player: Drury. If Drury's slated to get field time - the player at the position he'd play starts pounding the ball. All is took to get Bird off the snide was to call Drury up. Who knew? We should send him back down to the minors, he should start learning how to catch and his next call up should come after Sanchez returns. Drury will get our entire lineup pounding the ball Torres and Andujar proving exactly why they cant be trade bait. There's years of production there. On to game 2. Orioles should’ve nabbed Andujar last winter when we went after Machado. If that was actually on the table and they passed they have to be hating themselves
