All 4 new callups are wrestling for the 4th show in a row. Tonight it looks like a couple will go over The Bar.

While EC3 is stuck on Main Event losing to Apollo.

Am not liking in the slightest whats being done with these new callups. Theres no build in desire to see them because theyre being crammed in every show while putting down decent talent along the way.

The build in desire to see them is debatable  Is it not what it could/should be?  Absolutely.  Is it non-existent?  No, it's not.

As to them actually winning consistently when coming up to the main roster, that's what should happen.  Are there other teams they could be going over than Revival and the Bar?  Absolutely (though I'd argue the only reason they shouldn't be going over the Revival is that they just put the belts on them), but if you're going to put them in matches at this point they need to be winning - the 50/50 booking was trash and was more responsible for screwing up the build of most of the guys they've brought up from NXT since Owens (who if people will recall, beat Cena clean on his first night on the main roster).

These were the 4 who were considered to be the Top 4 guys in NXT (Dream is likely #5) - which is what Vince asked for (I can pretty much guarantee he doesn't know why or hadn't been following them); he just told Hunter, bring up your Top 4 guys.  EC3 was below them even before his promotion.  He'll be in purgatory for a while and eventually ask for his release unless Bruce goes to bat for him (and I don't know that Bruce is going to pick him as the first guy he sticks his neck out for).  It's just a case of bad timing and circumstance.

Rusuv has grown to be white hot a couple times. And they crush it. EC3 who can make buildup for matches better than near anyone with mic ability getting cast aside. Naka won the rumble and was heading for a WC match at Mania just last year. The Bar multiple time tag champs now. (Rusuv/Naka in tag action against NXT guys tonight)

The rosters are loaded. Im not seeing these guys just called up being in any different state as those mentioned this time next year. Maybe 1 of the 4 will work himself up to Finns level to getting title shots here and there.

Well, I feel the need to point out that you've kind of pre-conditioned yourself against these guys because of their size - so that is kind of relevant.  But that aside, those guys you mentioned were all victims of the BS 50/50 booking that's been rampant in WWE for freakin' ever.  They made it to where wins don't mean squat anymore because even if a guy wins to start a feud, there's no reason to take them seriously because you can bet like clockwork that they're going to lose to the same opponent they just beat the following week. They did it with Nakamura and Dolph.  They did it with EC3 and Ambrose (and then flipped EC3 from babyface to heel for no apparent reason).

They're doing (mind you, baby-steps because it's only been two weeks) the logical thing in booking so far with the new call-ups.  That in itself is progress that we haven't seen in close to a decade, outside of The Shield and Balor (pre-injury, and we don't know what the outcome would have been had he not injured his shoulder - though we do know that Vince always had an eye to get the Universal Title onto Roman).

It is because Batista is boring as hell.

Triple H is one of the few people he actually works hard against (the other being Taker).

But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how they book Rollins vs. Lesnar at WM since we all know Reigns will get the belt back sooner or later (that he never technically lost). Hotshotting a program with Rollins in which he'll almost assuredly get the belt back might take away his return pops. On the other hand, putting him in another program with Lesnar for the belt will get him (near?) unanimous cheers after his big comeback from leukemia, but it'll leave Rollins' title hopes very much up in the air for the forseeable future.

Hopefully Owens isn’t going to be a face. Doesn’t fit him at all.

Kind of looks like it. And I heard rumors that he was going to be brought back as a babyface. But it's kind of weird for him to come back as a babyface when he's "stealing" another babyface's title opportunity.

Guess they must have finally paid for his flight.

(Inside joke, but not really.  Honkey is notorious for taking the Mania appearance payday and showing up and eating the bejesus out of the free food and open bar.)

If anyone other than Lawler or Jimmy Hart induct him, someone needs to be taken out behind the shed and given the Ol' Yeller treatment.
