e16bball Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 As I’ve mentioned a few times, I’m a fan of Scandrick as a slot CB. But in a broader sense, I like this move. Keeping a veteran “name” player with a contract in an effort to save face and letting go of a more promising younger player — that would be business as usual for the Redskins. Hopefully the choice to put trust in the younger players pays off. As long as the pass-rush is effective, I think they’ll be mostly okay.
