She has a pretty clumsy fall when she misread where the ball was being served and some of the moms laughed at her really hard and started talking crap with their hands over their mouths. Apparently she was super pissed about being laughed at like that in front of me and the kids because her and the other moms got serious. I played D-III football and basketball, but she was the one that got a number of D-II scholarship offers for volleyball. Ace after ace, spikes, and the games were never close. Needless to say, I was picked as one of the last players because of height. I'm a scrappy player though and can cover a lot of space. I also jump higher than you'd expect (especially with the small beer belly). Our first date we went bowling (biggest attraction in the little town she lived it) and I absolutely crushed her with a 221. That is my lifetime best score and I average around 170, not bad for someone who bowls every 4 months or so but clearly I'm not actually good. But I doubled her score. Took a LOT of sucking up to keep that from ruining the date.
