One thing that shouldn’t be forgotten in all this is that Gruden is trash at drafting, so what the Raiders actually got in return for Mack is a bit moot.

Also, IIRC didn't Gruden notoriously take Monte Kiffin's ability to take guys that were undervalued by the rest of the league (at the time) because of lack of prototypical size and scheme them into a top-flight defense?  Hubris has always been his Achilles heel.

Allen was a first team all pro with 15 sacks his last year in KC. Pretty sure he was a year younger and had more career sacks at the time. Overall Mack was better, but same caliber, yes

Memory was foggy. Thanks for the reminder!

The Raiders GAVE UP a 2nd too!? What the holy hell!?

Let's not ignore that 3rd round pick that the Bears gave up as well...but I'm actually curious to see how those 2020 picks add up.  Let's just say that the '19 6th for '20 5th seems like an even swap.

For simplicity's sake, I'm going to ignore the depression of future picks but assuming every pick is the last pick of the round, the Bears dealt the 32nd pick (590 points) and 96th pick (116) while the Raiders deal the 64th pick (270).  That means the Raiders net gain was 436 points, which is roughly the value of a mid-2nd round pick
