We are the poster franchise for the idea that the real portion of the draft is about 4 rounds and everything after that is just picking priority UDFAs. Higgins was a 5th rd pick and he looks solid this year. Skrine was a 5th rd pick and was pretty good here before he was allowed to walk. Lower round guys (all draft picks really, but especially the day 3 guys) need to be brought into a situation where there’s a plan in place to allow them to develop. That ain’t what we do here.
