Shady Slim Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 can we just take some time to sit back and appreciate the weekend of football we’ve had -lusty rusty taking out the packers and keeping seattle’s miraculous rally alive with a touchdown strike to ed dickson -dallas finding a way to be in the driver’s seat in the nfce despite sucking hard on offense everywhere except RB, due to another defensive epic and a last second field goal -the saints giving the defending super bowl champs night terrors, putting up a total of 144 across their most recent three games -pittsburgh beating the jags after sleeping for 43 minutes of the game only to explode with an offensive surge against arguably the best secondary in the league -gruden winning the tankbowl on a last second field goal after he and derek carr nearly killed each other on the sideline -riverboat ron coming up snake eyes on a ballsy game winning two point try in the motor city -the debut of the final promising young signal caller from this class, and what a debut it was as well (unfortunately for a steelers fan like myself) -the continuation of the andrew luck comeback tour to launch the colts right in to the thick of the wild card race -nyg holding off another furious bucs comeback, which essentially was what fitzmagic did against the bengals mirrored in reverse -khalil mack doing khalil mack things as the new monsters of the midway show again why there’s still space for defense in the modern game and finally -kc building a mountain, and goff and mcvay climbing it in arguably the greatest game of the season if not the decade we’re blessed as fans Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
