Stock Down

Juan Thornhill, S, Virginia
Thornhill is an intriguing prospect who had an excellent 2018 season. He has hard to find free safety skills with the ability to cover downfield. At the combine, Thornhill did well in the workout with good jumps and a fast 40 time. However, team sources say that his interview was bad, leaving them very disappointed. Thornhill needs to interview much better during his pro day and on pre-draft visits.

Stock up

Darnell Savage, S, Maryland
Savage was one of the defensive backs who helped himself with an excellent workout at the combine, and his stock has stayed on the rise since then. In speaking with some team sources, they feel that Savage will go in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. If he somehow slips to Round 3, they think he would not wait long before finding his NFL home. Teams like Savage's cover skills on the back end and believe that he could become a quality starting free safety in the NFL.

Take all of this with a gallon of salt. Teams don't leak stuff accidentally. If Thornhill was "bad in interviews" it probably means some team wants him to fall.

The picks are Burns are Adderley. Who do you want at 44 if Risner is gone which he probably will be? Any interest in Hollywood Brown? Feel Rodgers has been missing a deep threat almost his entire career.

Brown, Deebo, Bradbury, JoeJuan Williams

I want to like him but his 40 time was kinda yucky.

I'm a sucker for long, press guys. King and Jaire are speedy as hell, be nice to have a guy that can fight with the physical receivers. Not to say Jaire wouldn't accept that challenge, he's got plenty of nasty to him.

(Jaylon) Ferguson measured 6043 and 271 pounds, timed as fast as 4.75 seconds in the forty on several watches, touched 32 inches in the vertical jump and 9-feet-10 in the broad.   He also completed 24 reps on the bench press with arms that measured 34 ¼ inches.

Ferguson was run through defensive line and linebacker drills, looking terrific in both.  He moved exceedingly well and during linebacker drills, did not drop a ball.
