Look at Freddie's life story - and he and Baker are cut from the same cloth. Freddie and Baker have been ultra productive. The only negative to this would be the eventual departure of Gregg, and who his replacement and system would be. But I have been wrong before - maybe Gregg stays. I don't want to have to choose between the two, but if Freddie's talents make the most important position on the team ultra productive, well - at that point it becomes a no brainer. If the Browns would not promote Freddie to HC, I think it is much more likely that he would leave the organization to pursue that opportunity elsewhere than Gregg being a hot HC candidate league wide.
