Still not enough honestly. This is a top 5 franchise QB who is 25 years old and under contract for another 4 seasons iirc. Houston doesn't even return a call unless it's 3-4 firsts, multiple seconds and a good player.

Obviously Cutler wasn't on the same level as Watson but Denver got Kyle Orton, 2 1sts, and a 3rd for him.

I'd offer Carr and our 1st/2nd in the next two drafts for him.

Carr, 2021 1st , 4th round and 2022 2nd round for Watson. Get it done

All of this talk is blasphemous.  Watson on a crappy team went 4-12.  That's literally what would happen if we did this trade or any of the other terrible ideas (all picks until 2023).  Ridiculous.

Apparently Watson is extremely unhappy with the Texans organization. After BOB/Hopkins fiasco, the Texans organization promised he would be involved in the GM search but wasn't. Watson hasn't returned the organization calls since Sunday.

We have to go get Watson. We went the draft capital way and gotten mediocre results. We're almost better at drafting late than early

The bad part is our draft capital is gone from the Mack/ Cooper trades. Watson is a complete game changer at 25 that we have to get. Probably will cost three 1st round picks minimum

No what's blasphemous is not trying to get better at all positions. We're out of the playoffs again. 4 years in a row after breaking a near decade and a half streak. ALL positions up for replacement if it makes the team better

Changes need to be made here at several areas. Watson is a clear upgrade.

Quotes like that are so so so so dumb. Because they don't take into account the terrible ownership and mismanagement under BOB that lead to the recent mess there. Team probably doesn't go 4-12 if they don't trade the games best WR to Arizona for starters.

BOB and company have completely mismanaged the team since the arrival of Watson. If Kubiak was still the coach, with Watson at QB that W column is a lot different.

Just goes to show QBs can't carry a crappy franchise (just like DC and the Raiders trash defense maybe?).  We traded Cooper and Mack, and the returns aren't really worth it.  Our drafting and FA has been average (at best) the last 7 years. So how is Watson going to come in here and fix the defense?  How are we going to ever put together a team if we are trading away 3 1st round picks.  We may not be striking gold with those picks, but talent is talent and we could possibly end up missing out on a generational talent down the line for a slight upgrade at QB that will probably result in similar W-L results.  Watson isn't taking this year's team to the playoffs and even if he did, we all know we have no shot at making any noise because of our trash defense.

lol well why doesnt Carr get that same respect?
our ownersip and management has been just as bad.
we traded the games best DE (at least at the time) right before a season

I'm not one to want to move on from Carr just to see if the next guy could be better but Watson is 100% an upgrade on Carr. He's one of the few elite QBs in the league and only 25. Ofc, it'd be extremely expensive to trade for him but that's a rare opportunity to adress the position for the next decade. It's a better move than drafting a guy who may or may not pan out. You already know what Watson is as a pro.

Fitzpatrick and Buckner both made 1st team all pro.

Imagine if the Raiders would used some of those first round assets to secure of these 2 at a need position.

I'll never understand overvaluing draft picks. I'd have sent a 1 for either of those players without hesitation.

Kelce unanimously voted to AP.

does this mean Waller underrated by the media?
does this mean Waller overrated by Raider Fans?

no idea, but, it was probably deserved.
I wish Waller got a vote or two though

Yes, it was deserved. He's 2nd in the league in receiving yards. Really impressive for a TE. And he's a better blocker than Waller. Ncough will tell you.
