The deph is okay after that, but unless you want to gamble on a rookie contributing right away in the cheap-Wentz window, or wait for Jeffery Simmons to come back healthy in 2020, then signing Malik Jackson was the best way to go (rather than paying toxic Michael Bennett more money to maybe do the same).
