Both guys were 2-down RBs in an era where those were the wrong 2 downs. I really wanted Bush in Mac’s scheme. Would have been similar to how we used Cobb early on and that would have been scary. Chili
I thought Payton used Bush perfectly. He was an awesome recieving back and Brees made full use of that.
Cakeshoppe
Rams have a pick this round that has gone through the hands of KC, SF, CLE, and NE before ending up in LA. I wonder what the most traded single pick in NFL history was?

No, I think Payton learned and adapted as the league did. Bush kinda opened that door for that type of back and when Sproles came around he solidified how a back built like that with that tool set should be used. Bush should have been a matchup nightmare but Nola wanted to make him a feature back and routinely ran him up the middle which resulted in a number of injuries. Mr. Fussnputz
Who should the Packers be targeting as UDFA?
ThatJerkDave
Reggie Bush is one of the best college football players I have ever seen. Maybe USC was just that much better than the teams they beat up and he was unable to make it passed the bottleneck of the next level of competition in the NFL. But he was amazing in college. Here is just a sample. There was a 20 minute video. Pardon the bull**** music, it isn't my video.

So it's got to be more than 5.

My guess would be a fair number of the players they brought in for pre draft visits. Then looking at positions that could use some competition.
Chili
You know what, if Ingold goes undrafted the Packers should feel confident landing him in undrafted free agency considering he's a local guy. We might actually risk not drafting him simply because of that fact and instead we will use our 7th round pick on someone else.

When the split him out, ran mis-direction and threw to him out of the backfield, yes. They also tried to make him a 1+2 feature back which he was not. Bush’s best skill wasn’t having the ball in the open field with room to work. That shows by him 700+ yards receiving his rookie year.
